MS SHAREPOINT ANALYST

Important Multinational in the O&G sector is seeking: MS Sharepoint Analyst

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
The position is responsible for managing the Microsoft Sharepoint Infrastructure, administering the Application development and acting as the liaison between the end user and the “teamsite platform”, providing guidance and support in the use of all functional and technical tools.

The MS Sharepoint Analyst will be responsible for:

• Analyzing, designing, developing and deploying overall project management for Microsoft SharePoint.
• Understanding company’s information architecture and internal customer requirements In order to design and develop organizational taxonomies, procedures and solutions.
• Working closely with developers to provide custom solutions as necessary.
• Interacting with the end user to map out functional requirements and translate them into Sharepoint solutions using workflow development tools.

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering or related career.
• 5 years minimum of related work experience in Sharepoint infrastructure and development (design, implementation, maintenance and support).
• 5 years as a SharePoint Analyst or Solution Architect supporting SharePoint 2007 or SharePoint 2010 Applications, and business processes.
• Knowledge of MOSS 2007 or MOSS 2010 application and server architecture, including Active Directory and ASP.NET.
• MCTS certifications in Microsoft SharePoint preferred.
• 5 years related Information Technology experience that includes deployment and development with Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS) and Search Server.
• Proven Experience in designing and implementing solutions with .NET, Java or Microsoft based tools.
• Proven Experience in Web server configuration and architecture as well as two and three tier applications architecture.
• Experience in administering the Microsoft Sharepoint database environment, its security and search capabilities.
• Specific experience with SharePoint 2010 / Office 2010 / Excel Services & Infopath platform is a plus.
• Knowledge of building Intranet portals and collaboration solutions using MS SharePoint.
• Proven experience integrating the portal with other corporate data sources, applications, and other corporate systems is a must.
• Experience with tools such as K2 or Nintex to enhance the workflow development process is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment and interact with internal customers (end users).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in English.
